Okay, here is my thought....If it is cool with Superyota and because he knows crooked finger well, why don't we invade in Silverton. we could invade at the Les Schwab store or maybe at the wilco farm supply store. That way if people want coffee or any thing else they can pick it up at the market next door. Lets say around 8:30

i Have me and a full size dode. maybe another guy. My only concern with crooked finger is that snow wont be low enough. Like i said before there was a gate at rhody lake that was goin to be closed on the 15th but I just wanna play so whatever works for me. If shoes know of some new places up there that would be sweet. I always go to the landing pad then up to the tower and thats it.

the big fork area that goes off to the left when shoes're headed up to the tower is a neat way to go out. i dont know how to come in that way. but there are some pretty sketchy areas that i wouldnt really wanna try when its slippery.
some steep down hills with some ruts shoes have to articulate through. sliding could mean rollover.
but we're gonna hit that when it dries up maybe this spring
hey yota whats chad upto? has he gotten rid of one of his jeeps yet? was talking about keeping the cherokee since the little hoodlum was added to the fam

talked to a competitor today, he said that they have to go as high as Marion Forks to find snow. That puts the snow level around 4000 - 4500 feet, is crooked finger high enough? we may need to re-think where we are going

crooked finger is 2000 at bottom and 4000 at the very top which is closed off. Thats why I wanted to do detroit or Mt.hood.

The snow level is suppose to drop this week to maybe as low as 2500 ft. I say wait till Thursday to make a final pick. Maybe it will be low enough and if we go acroos the dam and head up above the lake we may get into it. Oh. By the way. Count me in. (Hopefully)

we can always try going up the back side of the tower and come into the top of rhody lake. or maybe butte lakes but the last time i was on that trail i was going down in the snow not up and it was rough. as for the snow there was at least a foot last weekend and they say more to come this week. I could run up there one day this week and look to see what it's like to, if i have the time?
