Im still trying to figure out my transportation situation, if all goes well i will be driving but if not hopefully go as a ride along. I think shotgun sounds like the best bang for our buck though on a day trip.

shotgun ids fine with me. Never been there yet so a new stompin ground that is close sounds good. Sounds like I'd be spending the nite alone, so no over nter for me. Beth's dinner sounds good, if the invite is still open. If so, may I bring anything? Drink? or....... ?

Don't know about anyone else but I'll be going. I'm not to familiar with the area but still sounds fun! ;D. I think Slammed Shadow said something about trying to make it too and Corn Dog wasn't sure.

we will probably end up invading at slotmag's house since it is easy access to the freeway. TBA on the time of departure (any input?)

Dinner is at 6 sharp so we will have enough time to clean our jeeps and get cleaned up ourselves and be there!! YAY I am looking forward to seeing everyone there!! ;D[/glow]

I did find a shorter route taking the brownsville halsey exit to the east, then going south on brush creek rd. About the departure time: I would suggest invading at 7:30 and leaving at 8:00 (we will tell bucket to be there at 5:00) or maybe earlier since we will be coming back so early. What do shoes guys say?

I wouldnt be opposed to leaving earlier.
its not still dark around 730. we could invade at 6 30 or 7 and leave at 7 or 7 30.
that would give us time for mishaps.
if we leave AT 7, even if it is still a little dark it would definetly be light by the time we got to the park.
i thnk we should invade at 6:30 and leave at 7

OK , Can we confirm Permit for shotgun Joe. I believe $10.50 is the cost. And I was wondering if bringing my trailer for carrying xtra fuel for all of us and bbq for a hot love and my large cavans tent for warm dry hang out would be a good idea or not. Or are we none-stop cruisin the whole time or ? If anyone thinks it's a good idea and wishes to utilize it, (I'll pull it) Let me know NLT Wed 3/15 so I can pick it up for shoes Thurs or Fri. And since this is my first trip with ya all, and shoes think me an idiot for even thinkin about it, please, by all means, call me an IDIOT !!!!! lol (HUH... what did I just do.. ) 503-269-0429, alt # 503-932-1535

i personally would leave the trailer at home because we really dont know how the trails are at shotgun, and i would be nervous to leave it sitting somewhere unaccompanied for theft reasons. but thats just like, my opinion man.

As long as I got the gas money I'm going too. I will have my 7 year old daughter with me as well. The permits are $10.50 are good for 3 years! any motorcycle and Jetski shop in town should have them. Slotmag told me today that he probablly will NOT be going do to moving prep that weekend.
