we decided to head up and see if we could get into trouble. almost... exhaust got so hot it started my carpet on fire. cool... other than that it was fun though. here's some pics.

looks like it was fun. what caused the exhaust to get so hot it caught your carpet on fire?

So shoes had a big leak in the exhaust manifold ;D That shit happened to me about 17 years ago on my 1 ton crew cab chevy the 454 spits a flame

after i put the cam in and the exhaust leak its running mucho lean.
so after flogging up the hills the muffler is the closest thing to the floor and the greatest conductor of heat so away it went.

better fix that lean run condition before shoes burn a piston or valve, it doesnt take very long for that to happen
