Starting March First there will be NO member inducted without membership fees.
there are becoming too many things that need to be paid for so not to jeapordize club materials IE: this web forum will be paid for or possibly upgraded.
Membership fees will be 40$ for new members and will need to be renewed annually for 30$.
anyone who becomes a member after June 30th will only need to pay for half a year/half the new member fee.
(this is still up in the air but as of yet this will be the only way to regulate who has/hasn't paid and when their year is up. Unless someone wants to volunteer to keep track of all member status's)
Membership fees will need to be recieved anytime during the month of January but need to be in before February 1st to avoid the extra 10$ of the "new" member fee.
I will setup multiple ways of paying.
i already have a seperate acct setup for OOA funds and in addition will setup a paypal acct.
These fee's will go towards :
Camping expenditures,
entry fee's for shows/parades
and possibly a Ticket Relief Fund (with special review)
as i have stated above this will take effect on March 1 of 2008
there will be discussion over fee's regarding Charter Members, Moderators, administrators, existing members, and to whether or not these fees will exist and/or the amounts they will be.
registration and membership for the Forum is and will remain Free.
Nobody will be excluded from ANY run for not being a paid member.
Member ship bonuses will include but are not limited to:
Windsheild sticker,
small logo or large logo
most perks will be division specific of course and no member will need to double register to be a part of another division. they are however subject to bundling of perks as these do cost money
IE: shoes're not going to get 2 or 3 times the amount of goods for the same price another member pays for just 1 package.
we will discuss and come up with a solution to this and make "packages" for other divisions available at a discounted cost provided the member is affiliated with atleast 1 division.
in the future i will be trying to get paid members, discounts off certain offroad products, and performance products from vendors willing to participate, this may be local or internet based. we obviously need a larger member base to qualify for anything like this so dont get your hopes up.
These are all things that will be under heavy discussion by current staff members and everyone will be kept up to date via a sticky thread and a Mass Email of any changes.
