attention all members with financial backing. www.octaneoutlaws.comis meow available to us and only us. i've been in contact with the owner of the site in wisconsin for over 3 years and he's finally decided that he's not going to do anything with it he did however just renew the site so its going to cost us 100$ to buy the name and rights from him. who's in?

A stupid question. Why are we wanting to pay for someone else's site, when anyone who has an internet connection has web space available to them to create a site on?

i'm not paying for his site i'm paying for the domain name www.octaneoutlaws.comhe had it first. and the only reason its 100 bucks is because he just spent 150 renewing for another 2 years i think. so it wont be anyone elses site. it will be ours. eventually we will have a better forum too. maybe....not sure.

Sorry, guess I am a little gun shy when it comes to paying for things up front and prior to having the product. After the site is obtained & up and running I would be more than happy to make a donation but not until then.

not a problem
i was actually going to pay for it and then setup some different ways of donating/paying dues to the site after it was obtained
so that works out perfect.

the guy's pretty busy but he said when he gets a chance he'll contact the host and see whats involved in switching ownership of the domain over to us.
